Features –
• High level disinfectant for use in reprocessing heat sensitive medical devices.
• Virucidal, bactericidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal and sporicidal.
• High degree of material compatibility for medical devices and endoscope.
• Compatible with different water qualities.
• Effective against bacterial spores.
• Can be used for cleaning and disinfection of heat resistant and heat sensitive instruments (flexible endoscopes) in the manual treatment, circulation procedures as well as in the ultrasonic bath.
Direction of use:
• For activation: pour entire content of activator vial in 5 ltr vigicure gta solution. Stir well till activated solution colour changes to green.
• For disinfection immerse cleaned medical instruments/ equipments completely in activated vigicure gta solution
• As per cdc guidelines thorough cleaning of instruments with multienzymatic cleaner and proceed before high level disinfection or sterilization for best results.
Soak time:
• For high level disinfection 20 minutes at 20°c.
• For sporicidal activity: 8 – 10 hours at 25°c.
• Wash the instruments thoroughly with sterile water before appliction.
• The activated solution can be used for 28 days.
Precautions:
Contains glutaraldehyde. Harmful by inhalation and if swallowed. Irritating to respiratory system and skin. Risk of serious damage to eye. May cause sensitization by inhalation and skin contact. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitable ppes. In case of accident or if you feel unwell. Seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible.) Use only in well ventilated areas (refer to the material safety data sheet for additional information. Avoid release to the environment & keep the lid on.
