Vigicure HDCold is a stabilized Peracetic Acid product that offers state of art cold sterilization. Its careful Formulation makes it simple,safe & fast acting cleaning agent. Being biodegradable, its more environmental friendly than traditional methods.
Principle
The concentrate of Peracetic Acid in Vigicure HDCold & Vigicure HDCold + is sufficient not only to react with the cell walls proteins, but also penetrate into the interior of cells, oxidising all protein contents. The Peroxide contents is an efficient cleaning agent and sterilant. thods.
Application Areas.
Vigicure HDCold & Vigicure HDCold + is an efficient sterilant formulated for use after dilution for many applications, as: • Dialyzer/ Dialyzer reprocessing machine. • Heamodialysis Machine. • Water Treatment Plan. t. thods.
•Effective against bacteria, fungi, spores, viruses, including hepatitis B viruses, hepatitis C viruses, HIV Viruses.
• Dissolves carbonate residues, especially suitable for disinfection and cleaning after bicarbonate dialysis.
• Effective against Biofilm and Endotoxins. (pyrogens).
• Easy and safety detected at traces level.
• Quickly rinsed off (Without salt out risk.)
• Produces no noxious odours in the diluted water.
BIO Compatibility
Vigicure HDCold decomposes into water, oxygen & acetate. It can be metabolized at the trace level.
Features
•A cold sterilant that is glutaraldehyde free.
• More effective than formaldehyde, ethanol and sodium hydroxide (which are only disinfectants that kill the most bacteria and some spores but not all microorganism.)
• Effective against non-tuberculus mycobacteria including HIV (associated with AIDS), hepatitis viruses and microorganisms when used as a sterilant.
Usage & precautions
Do not mix or use Vigicure HDCold & Vigicure HDCold+ simultaneously with other disinfectants (containing aldehyde or halogen derivatives) to avoid possibility of conflicts or neutralization. In case of contact with Eyes or Skin, rinse with plenty of water immediately. Consult a doctor if irritation continues. Keep out of reach of children.
Dilution
Vigicure HDCold must be diluted with AAMI – quality water for intended use. The working concentration: • For Haemodialysis Machines: 3-4%, • For Dialyzer & Blood Tubing Reprocessing: 3%, • For water treatment plants: 1%
